This is an antique Ansonia mantel clock from around 1880, featuring a classic architectural design with four ornate columns and a triangular pediment top. The clock face has Roman numerals and an exposed gear mechanism under the glass, surrounded by a decorative brass bezel. The clock is housed in a black wooden case with a brass decorative vent on the back. This collectible vintage timepiece is a fine example of 19th-century American clockmaking.
